A Quarter-Century of Leadership: Celebrating Robert Nevin
It’s not every day that you get to celebrate a milestone as significant as a 25-year work anniversary, and today, we’re excited to honour someone who has truly made a lasting impact on our firm. Robert Nevin, P.Eng., has been a vital part of our team since 1999, and as we reflect on his journey, it’s clear that his dedication and leadership have shaped both the company and the people around him.
Rob, who now serves as Director of New Construction (Structural) at our Kanata office, has always been driven by a passion for developing practical and efficient solutions to complex engineering challenges. His expertise in structural design and construction methodologies is unparalleled, and now, as a mentor, he’s helping our growing Kanata Structural team blend engineering principles with real-world construction practices.
But Rob’s contributions don’t end at the office. For the past 27 years, he’s managed to balance his professional life with family commitments and his leadership role in the Canadian Army’s Ceremonial Guard. His ability to wear multiple hats is a testament to his dedication, both to his career and his community.
Now a shareholder at BPA, Rob is helping expand our structural expertise not only in Kanata but across the country. His influence reaches far beyond his own projects as he continues to guide and inspire the next generation of engineers.
On a personal note, Brian Johnson, Vice President of Structural, shares: “Please join me in congratulating Rob on an incredible 25 years with the firm. He’s been an exceptional member of the BPA team and, more importantly, one of my best friends for over 30 years. The journey has been fantastic, and I look forward to many more years together. Congratulations, Rob!”
Here’s to many more years of success, Rob. Congratulations on this remarkable achievement!
