Cleland Jardine Engineering Ltd was retained by Morguard Investments Limited to carry out a detailed Building Condition Assessment of their property located at 340 Laurier Avenue West. The office tower, constructed circa 1965, has 13 floors of office space over a two level underground garage.
The purpose of the assessment was to review all the major building elements including:
- Site work
- Building envelope
- Identify the capital cost requirements to maintain the commercial building over 10 years
A detailed analysis was also completed to identify compliance with the Public Works and Government Services Canada Office space lease standards.
